My most favorite cartoon, ever.
I still remember the first time I saw it; I couldn't have been more than 3 or 4. It will be played at my funeral.

Last year, I mentione the phrase "Speaw and Magic Helmet," and NO ONE--not even the teacher--had any idea what I was talking about. This was right after my 35th birthday, so man oh man did I feel old. Which is weird, because that cartoon was already way older than I am.
And yes. Best cartoon ever. I was lucky enough to see it on the big screen once, and it was fantastic.
I understand where you're coming from. A few years ago, I was substitute teaching a bunch of middle schoolers, and they had no idea who I was talking about when I referenced the Beatles. I believe, however, it's not that we're becoming fossils; it's that no one has any appreciate for anything older than last year's entertainment, anymore. *Sigh*.
Nothing is funnier than watching Bugs' dress (boobs still intact) flying up into the air, and seeing his shadow scurrying away from lightning bolts. And nothing is sadder than Elmer's guilt over killing the bunny. Brilliant, brilliant stuff.
