Shifting gears.

I've hosted my own website for 8 years now, and have always provided my blog from that site in my "Commentary" section. But aesthetically, it's not very interesting, and my lazy ass likes the ability to plug in images and such without having to type in a bunch of code.

So, I've decided to start doing it from here. It's a test--I may go running back to my old ways--but my three-year tenure with MySpace (I'm off there now; too damned time-consuming trying to keep up with everyone--75% of whom I had never even met--and too rooted in high school ego gratification: "Where am I on so-and-so's top 8? Why hasn't anyone looked at my page today?") did allow for me to have responses to my blogs, and I was able to reply. I enjoyed the interfacing capabilities. This way, I'm back to my original presence, and people can look/respond if they want. Period.

Of course, all of this stuff--blogging, website, photos--is rooted in ego. We all wanna be special, no? But I feel more in control of content and contact this way. Call it a "revisioning" of my ego.

That is, if you want. Period.
